‘Emphatetic’ Roger Federer is the nicest boss

Roger Federer Foundation CEO Janine Handel has called Roger Federer “the nicest boss ever.” In 2003, Federer launched the Roger Federer Foundation. In 2010, Dr. Janine Handel joined the Roger Federer Foundation. Since then, Handel has been helping the Roger Federer Foundation be successful in its goal of helping underprivileged kids around the world.

“Without wanting to insult previous bosses – he is the nicest boss I’ve ever had. Because he is an empathetic boss. Otherwise I would have been gone a long time ago,” Janine Handel told Swiss media FUW.

Handel: Federer listens to others

Federer, a former 20-time Grand Slam champion, is widely regarded as one of the biggest figures in the history of the sports world.

But when Handel or anyone else has something to tell Federer, the Swiss tennis icon is always willing to politely listen. “I can only advise Roger Federer well if I don’t see a star. Roger is open to advice, eager to learn and ambitious,” Handel expressed.

Last year, Federer visited the African continent as part of his foundation’s work there. In 20 years since its existence, the Roger Federer Foundation has established itself as a globally known foundation. “90% of our followers click on our website in English.

Most users are not from Switzerland,” Handel revealed. Meanwhile, Federer has been retired since last September. Just recently, Federer confirmed he will be a guest at this year’s Laver Cup, which is taking place in late September in Vancouver.

“Bjorn and John have been amazing for the Laver Cup. They are great team leaders, mentors, and ambassadors for the event. They fight hard but with huge respect for one another and the sport we all love. The Laver Cup could not have chosen better for our inaugural captains and I’m really looking forward to being in Vancouver in September to watch them and their teams go at it once again,” Federer said in a statement.
