According to TYC Sports, the Argentine boss rejected a possible return to north London last week as he pins his hopes on a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

talkSPORT understands Pochettino is admired by Chelsea, who are on the lookout for a new manager after sacking Graham Potter.

It’s also reported that Ajax and the Belgian national team had expressed an interest in Pochettino of late, however his eyes are firmly set on Los Blancos amid the ongoing uncertainty regarding Carlo Ancelotti’s future.

During his 18 months with the French giants, Pochettino won the Ligue 1 title and the Coupe de France, but fell short in the Champions League.
