Ebanie Bridges in stitches at Emma Jones’ funny response to creepy social media messages

Ebanie Bridges couldn’t help but laugh at Emma Jones’ comedy skit hitting out at creepy messages she is inundated with on Instagram.

The broadcaster used the social media platform to play the role of phone operator for the fake ‘DM helpline’.

Jones made a hilarious video pretending to talk to someone who has sent a creepy message

“Hello DM helpline, can I take your name please?” she joked at the start of the video. “Hi, Gary. Thanks for calling, how can I help?”

Pretending to listen to ‘Gary’, she responds with: “You’ve been sending direct messages to a girl called Emma and she hasn’t replied? Right, do you mind me asking what the messages say, Gary?

The crass message – an example of the disgusting things she is subjected to in her direct messages – is then read out.

Jones then asks: “Have you considered a more subtle approach, Gary?

“No, you’re a ‘direct kind of man’? Right, well look, I see absolutely no reason why Emma isn’t replying, so you just stick at it and I’m sure she’ll get back to you soon alright. Alright thanks for calling Gary, take care, bye bye.”

Jones then puts down the imaginary call, before pretending to dial 999 on her phone and say: “Hello police.”

It’s something Jones and talkSPORT’s Laura Woods shouldn’t have to deal with but despite the creepy message, her sense of humour has been able to make light of the situation.

Jones made her social media followers laugh in April when she had an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction at Leicester’s training ground.

And IBF bantamweight world champion Bridges was one of the followers in stitches at the recent video.

The Blonde Bomber reposted the video to her Instagram story to show her support, adding two laughing and skull emojis to the caption ‘ILY [I love you]’.

Bridges is a qualified maths teacher and has also been a professional bodybuilder before transitioning to boxing.

She first caught the eyes of the fighting world when she attended weigh-ins whilst wearing lingerie, which she told talkSPORT was inspired from her bodybuilding days.

talkSPORT Woods has also shown support for the boxer’s marketing techniques. “There’s not just one way a woman needs to present herself and it’s nobody’s judgement at all.”

The 36-year-old Australian, who also has a hugely successful OnlyFans account, has come a long way in her fighting career.

Her last bout came in December and ended in victory, with Bridges showing her quality when she defeated Shannon O’Connell by TKO to claim her world title.
