Ange Postecoglou is set to become the next Tottenham manager as he prepares to leave Celtic, talkSPORT understands.
The 57-year-old had become the top choice at Spurs in recent weeks but wanted to see out the season with Celtic.
The Hoops completed a domestic treble on Saturday when they won the Scottish Cup with victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
And talkSPORT understands that Tottenham have since ramped up their efforts to prise Postecoglou away from Parkhead.
Postecoglou has a 12-month rolling contract so compensation will not be a major issue for the north London club.
