Highly mediatized tennis couple Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa posted a funny picture from their holiday as a response to their critics.”We’re criticized, but all your bullets ricochet,” the couple captioned a picture with them and two similar mugs on their joint Instagram account.

According to the couple’s fans, the critics regard Paula Badosa’s supposed bad influence on Stefanos Tsitsipas, who disappointed in his last tournaments.

“I think what’s sickening is the blaming of the woman. I’ve seen this in other sports. Always the girlfriend/wife being blamed for the sudden streak of losses. Hope you don’t take them personally Paula. You guys have fun!” said one of the couple’s followers.”Stef you should be no where out of these semis get your shit together man,” another fan said.Stefanos Tsitsipas lost in the round of 16 at Wimbledon in front of American Chris Eubanks.

Before, the Greek lost in the first round at Mallorca Open against Yannick Hanfmann, and made it to the second round at Halle, where he was defeated by Nicolas Jarry.

Tsitsipas hopes to win Wimbledon one day

Before meeting Chris Eubanks, Stefanos Tsitsipas stated his dream of winning Wimbledon.”I had played quite long games and this clear victory helped me, in perspective, because I will face the next game more rested.I am particularly happy with the way I managed to manage the various moments of the match and to maintain the right concentration point by point, against an opponent with totally different characteristics from those of Murray.

Who wouldn’t like to win Wimbledon? It’s a goal that I feel I get a little closer to every game.It is essential not to force things in order not to get the opposite effect. I played in two Grand Slam finals and those moments were the most intense of my career: you think back to your childhood, how far you had to go, how it all began, the first fields in your city…and suddenly you’re fighting for a dream that millions of children have dreamed. That moment stays with you forever but you know you earned it and how hard you worked to get there,” said Tsitsipas.
