Warriors to face the Denver Nuggets on Christmas Day

The Golden State Warriors will be facing the Denver Nuggets in their Christmas Day matchup, according to a report by The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

Denver will enter the season as the reigning NBA champions, while the Warriors will be hoping their marquee December 25 matchup is a prelude to the Western Conference Finals in mid-2024.

As such, we will be treated to some stellar basketball where Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green face off against Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic, and Aaron Gordon in what will be the marquee game of the Christmas Day calendar. The game will take place at the Ball Arena in Denver.

Last season, the Nuggets won their regular-season series against the Warriors 3-1. However, Warriors fans can take solace in the fact that each loss against Denver was a close-fought contest, with the biggest margin being a seven-point defeat on March 7, in a game that ended 124-131.

Nevertheless, a new season is approaching, where all series records are wiped clean, and the Warriors will have another chance of making a run to the NBA Finals. Yet, if Golden State expects to achieve success, they will likely have to go through the Nuggets.
