Simona Halep, who still awaits the verdict regarding her doping case, decided to go on vacation to Capri after she realized she won’t play in the US Open. “Capri, hai il mio cuore (Capri, you have my heart)”, Halep captioned her latest Instagram post.
Halep’s decision impressed many of her fans.”You know…

Simona Halep is out of the US Open
Simona Halep had been kept on the entry list for the 2023 edition of the US Open until this week when the organizers had to withdraw the Romanian champion since no verdict came in time.
Some influential journalists from the world of tennis, namely Jose Morgado and Ben Rothenberg, were quick to condemn the authorities responsible for giving the verdict.
Halep’s independent hearing was in June.
Guilty or not, she is provisionally suspended since October, which is absolutely ridiculous.
