Novak Djokovic turned 30 in May 2017. The Serb has won 12 Major titles since then, conquering all four events at least two times and extending his legacy to become the most accomplished player of all time! Djokovic’s closest rival, Rafael Nadal, claimed eight Major crowns after his 30th birthday, a respectable number but not in line with the Serb’s achievement.

Moreover, Novak is a proud owner of multiple titles at all four Majors after turning 30, a feat that will take some beating in the future. The Serb has won half of his Major crowns after turning 30, an incredible testimony of his dedication and stamina.

Djokovic conquered Wimbledon and the US Open in 2018 at 31, making a perfect comeback after an injury and adding the Australian Open and Wimbledon to his tally in 2019. Djokovic defended the Melbourne crown in 2020 and almost went all the way in the following year, embracing a 27-1 run at Majors and missing the calendar Grand Slam after losing the US Open final!

The Serb missed hard-court Majors in 2022, winning Wimbledon and staying in contention with Nadal. Novak embraced another memorable season at Majors in the current season, repeating a 27-1 run and winning three crowns, becoming the most accomplished player ever.

Djokovic celebrated in Melbourne and Paris before reaching the Wimbledon final. He met Carlos Alcaraz in the title clash and fell after five epic sets, experiencing his only defeat at notable events this year. Djokovic came to New York as the favorite, seeking his fourth US Open crown and delivering it in style!

The 36-year-old lost two sets in seven encounters, playing well and becoming the oldest winner in New York in the Open era. Novak earned his 12th Major title after turning 30 with a 6-3, 7-6, 6-3 victory over Daniil Medvedev in three hours and 16 minutes.The Serb overcame physical issues and toppled a much younger opponent with a rock-solid display behind the initial shot.

Novak lost serve once in the third set, saving a set point in the second and prevailing in a marathon. The Serb made a perfect start, building an early advantage and controlling it to secure the opener 6-3 in 48 minutes. The second set went down to the wire, lasting an hour and 45 minutes and taking everything from both players.

Djokovic saved a set point in the 12th game and overcame the deficit in the tie break to forge a massive two sets to love advantage. The Serb broke two times in a row in the third set to move over the top and celebrate his 24th Major crown.
