Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez will pay £250,000-a-month for 17-room Saudi Arabia hotel suite before moving into £10.5m mansion thanks to Al-Nassr contract

If you think rent in the UK is bad, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez will reportedly be forking out £250,000 per-month for their hotel suite in Saudi Arabia.

That’s the price it costs for the couple and their family to stay at the Four Seasons in capital city Riyadh, but it won’t be a problem for Ronaldo and his £173million-a-year salary at Al-Nassr.

The Portuguese superstar has been made football’s highest-paid player after his departure from top-level European football, and hasn’t yet found a permanent home.

Not to worry, though, he and his partner have managed to book out two floors and 17 rooms at the Kingdom Tower, before later moving to a £10.5m mansion, according to Spanish outlet Marca.

While the couple are unmarried, they have reportedly been given a special pardon from the law to live together.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez are said to be staying at The Kingdom Suite, on the 48th and 50th stories of the building, which covers just short of 4000 square feet and offers ‘Spectacular views of the city’.

The Four Seasons website says the suite also comes with ‘24-hour in-room dining’, while Ronaldo can even request a ‘complimentary overnight shoeshine’.

Pictures and floorplans of the stunning suite are readily available, while airport transportation is covered at any hour, in case Ronaldo fancies heading back to Manchester to say farewell to manager Erik ten Hag.

The 37-year-old mutually agreed to terminate his contract in Manchester after spectacularly falling out with the club and the boss.

Ten Hag repeatedly benched football’s record-scorer during his opening months in the dugout, leading to a number of flashpoints, which ended in a bombshell interview with Piers Morgan.

Ronaldo then became a free agent with his relationship with the club completely severed, joining Al-Nassr in Saudi, but he’s yet to appear for his new side.

His debut appearance in the country could come against Lionel Messi and PSG.

“It [his debut] won’t be with the Al-Nassr jersey,” manager Rudi Garcia was quoted as saying by L’Équipe.

“It will be a mix between Al Hilal and Al-Nassr. As the coach of Al Nassr, I cannot be happy with this match.

“For development, to see PSG, to see the great Parisian players, indeed it is a good thing. But we have a championship game three days later.

“In terms of scheduling, it could have been better thought out. But it’s not a big deal … We are in the lead, we are happy. It is a difficult championship to win, but we intend to do it.”

And Barcelona manager Xavi has warned Ronaldo he might find football in Saudi Arabia more difficult than he perhaps expects.

“This league is very complicated. I played against several of their teams when I coached Al Sadd. It will be a challenge.”

The Athletic have since revealed that Ronaldo was offered to Real Madrid several times over the summer.

Other clubs were also said to have rejected the chance to sign him even though United were said to be willing to cover his wages for the majority of the season.

Meanwhile, Al-Nassr have denied claims that Ronaldo’s contract includes an obligation to back Saudi Arabia’s World Cup 2030 bid.
