Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow pulls of s***house move as he throws loose ball on the pitch to stop Twente taking a quick throw-in and scoring an open goal

Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow pulled off the ultimate s***house move to deny FC Twente a near-certain goal.

The Dutch goalkeeper used his quick thinking to get himself out of a sticky situation in their Eredivisie match after a rush of blood to the head put him in trouble.

With Feyenoord 1-0 up at the time, Bijlow raced out to the right-hand side of his penalty area to try and win a tackle against Twente forward Virgil Misidjan.

The goalkeeper slid in at pace and got to the ball first, sending it out for a throw as his momentum took him off the pitch as well.

With Feyenoord’s goal wide open and Bijlow off the pitch, Misidjan looked to take his opportunity by quickly shaping up to take a fast throw-in to one of his teammates, giving them a clear opportunity to bag an easy equaliser.

Bijlow spotted that his goal was exposed and knowing that he wouldn’t be able to make his way back to his goal in time, he did the only thing that he could do to stop play; he picked up another ball and threw it onto the pitch.

Rules state that only one football can be on the pitch at any given time, meaning that the Twente forward was unable to take the throw-in until the stray ball had been removed, giving Bijlow the chance to get himself back in position.

While the Feyenoord goalkeeper’s s***housery certainly saved his bacon, Twente winger Misidjan was rightly furious and threw the match ball in anger in the goalkeeper’s direction.

The 25-year-old didn’t completely get away with his cheeky action though with the goalkeeper being booked for his antics, but that yellow card will have been seen as a worthwhile punishment considering it helped Feyenoord to retain their 1-0 lead.

Unfortunately for the Eredivisie leaders, karma took hold later on in the game with Twente eventually managing to get an equaliser, meaning that the match ended 1-1 between two of Dutch football’s high-flyers.
