The Springboks pair of talented outside backs returned to the Blues Bulls against Cardiff and helped the side pile on the points in a 45-9 win at Pretoria.
After an impressive debut Test season with seven tries, Kurt-Lee Arendse turned out at fullback while Canan Moodie was named on the left wing for the Bulls, who were strengthened by four other Springboks in the starting line-up.
Springboks flanker Marco van Staden added firepower in the loose forwards consisting of Cyle Brink and No 8 Elrigh Louw, another debutant this year for South Africa.
Flyhalf Johan Goosen, who recently spent time with the squad, and centre Cornal Hendricks, were the other two.
Moodie scored a double, both assisted by Arendse, while the Springboks try-scoring hero also bagged one himself latching onto a brilliant offload by Goosen.
The first for Moodie came after some smart work by Goosen to put the fleet-footed No 15 into a wide gap, who then played the last man to put Moodie away.

The pair linked up again later in the second half with Arendse providing a smart kick in behind the Cardiff defence.
After patiently waiting for the right bounce, Moodie dived on the loose ball to score his second.

It was a big day out for this year’s capped Springboks in the United Rugby Championship, with Moodie and Stormers flyhalf Mannie Libbok taking home Player of the Match awards for their performances.
