Erling Haaland ‘can’t wait’ to face Arsenal with Manchester City tipped to score ‘three or four goals’ in title showdown

Arsenal could get beaten by ‘three or four goals’ against Manchester City following their ’embarrassing’ display against Southampton.

That’s the view of Gabby Agbonlahor who believes that the Gunners have well and truly come unstuck in the Premier League title race.

Mikel Arteta’s side are on a run of three draws in a row, a sequence that has seen their dominating lead in the league fall away.

While Arsenal are still five points clear at the top of the table, Pep Guardiola’s side still have two games in hand as well as a crunch fixture at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night – a fixture that is live and exclusive on talkSPORT.

With City on a run of 16 games with a defeat, the reigning champions are in fine form and according to former Aston Villa star Agbonlahor, Arsenal offered nothing in their 3-3 draw with Southampton that will worry them.

Speaking on Gameday Phone-In, Agbonlahor said: “First of all, the huddle was embarrassing.

“Zinchenko, concentrate on your game. Doing the huddle for the cameras, you don’t follow your runners, the set piece for the third goal you don’t follow your man and concede.

“That, for a start, was embarrassing.

“For me, Rob Holding is a Championship defender. Not good enough to be third choice at a team who want to win the title.

“Since Saliba has been injured they’ve conceded nine goals in five games – three draws in a row, that’s not championship form.

“Vieira is not good enough. He looked lost – not good enough, Gabriel looks shaky and has got mistake in him, Jesus’s finishing was shocking, Thomas Partey was poor too, giving easy passes away.

“I think that Man City will put three or four past this Arsenal team on Wednesday, I really do.

“He’ll play Mahrez or Bernardo Silva on Zinchenko – Haaland will be in the changing room now saying, ‘guys I can’t wait to play against Holding and Gabriel’.”
