Luis Alberto Lopez BEATS Michael Conlan with stunning one-punch uppercut KO

Conlan’s head movement was excellent in round two, as he ducked and dived with Lopez’s power shots flying past him.

But, just one round later, Conlan found himself in some serious trouble off the back of a crushing uppercut from Lopez, as the Irishman had to show some real bravery to make it to the end of the round.

Lopez continued with the power punches over the next few rounds, and while Conlan endured for some time he could not hold on.

He was caught with another uppercut that put him flat on his back and the towel came in from the Irishman’s corner.

Lopez successfully defended his IBF featherweight world title that he had originally won after upsetting Josh Warrington last year before deciding to put it on the line against Conlan.

Meanwhile, the Irishman failed in his first attempt to win a world title against Leigh Wood in 2022, getting knocked out in stunning fashion in the final round of the fight and he failed once again on Saturday night.
