Conor McGregor sends messages to Dana White and Michael Chandler after Ultimate Fighter winners are decided at UFC 292

Conor McGregor’s second stint on The Ultimate Fighter is officially over.

The final episode of the MMA reality TV show aired earlier this week before those who reached the final battled it out for a contract with Dana White’s MMA league at UFC 292 on Saturday night.

Brad Katona, McGregor’s SBG Ireland teammate who started off in Michael Chandler’s group before switching sides, outpointed Cody Gibson over three rounds to win the bantamweight competition.

McGregor reacted by sending a simple congratulatory message to Katona and those who coached him to become the first person to win TUF twice.

He tweeted: “Tris Kennedy, Coach Kav, The Hot Rod, Dave Roche, Katie Saul! Mega players in this historic moment for our team. Outstanding!

“Well done Brad Katona, your commitment and consistency is inspiring and motivating to us all at SBG! Think we are done? Think again.”

Next up, Kurt Holobaugh submitted Austin Hubbard to become the lightweight Ultimate Fighter champion and solicit a much more animated response from McGregor.

The former dual-weight UFC champion immediately called for a rematch between Holobaugh and his teammate Lee Hammond who suffered a late submission defeat to Holobaugh during the season.

“Lee Hammond was sailing to victory over Hobo. It was so easy it was too f***ing easy. We call for the rematch now Dana White,” McGregor added.

“Lee was the real star of the UFC LW contestants and kicked and punched Kurt around easily. Rematch time! Well done Team SBG, Team McGregor #Winners

“And just like that, yous haven’t a clue. The usual. Well done Lee Hammond, we are ready for the easy rematch. Hey Hobo, who taught you them short elbows? smacked around like it was an episode of bum fights you were.”

Of course, McGregor’s latest Twitter tirade wouldn’t be complete with a message for the man he hopes to face at UFC 296 on December 16.

“Chandler I’m gonna break your head,” he predicted.

“I’m gonna come back and fly thru the air.

“Acrobatic Mixed Martial Arts, I wrote the book.”
