big risks for the Italian

Camila Giorgi is under great risks, following a recent confession, which would involve her in the false issue vaccinations. These are very special days for the Italian tennis player, and not only as regards the final preparations for the new season.

The 30-year-old is in fact being investigated by the Vicenza Public Prosecutor’s Office for having certified false documents in front of a public official. The case concerns precisely the anti-Covid vaccinations, which the athlete allegedly declared he had carried out to obtain the green pass and continue to regularly play tournaments around the world.

A very serious accusation that could lead to important consequences for the former Italian number one. Of the three no-vax doctors arrested after the investigation that took place last February, only Dr. Daniela Grillone Tecioiu decided to collaborate with the investigators.

As reported by the Italian newspaper Corriere del Veneto, the statements during the various interrogations almost always concerned the protection of the health of their patients. The doctor reiterated several times that she acted in this way to prevent greater damage and protect those who turned to her from possible contraindications of the anti-Covid serum.

Big risks for Camila Giorgi

Last month the woman had also openly declared in an interview with the local broadcaster TVA Vicenza: “False vaccines have been made, only to colleagues who had pathologies and could not receive the vaccine.

They were desperate. They turned to me because all the other colleagues refused to give them an exemption.” The tennis player’s situation has also worsened, given that her brothers, her mother and father coach Sergio Luis Giorgi are also among the suspects.

All have received the guarantee notice in view of the request, made by the Vicenza prosecutor’s office, for a probative incident to be held in the coming weeks. The investigators would apparently like to hear, this time before a judge, the doctor, whose statements may be important in a possible trial.

According to media reports, Camila Giorgi should meet her lawyers to decide how to respond to the accusations, which could also lead to sanctions from the Federation from a sporting point of view. The case could force the Italian to give up the Australian tour scheduled for January, in which she will be at the starting line for the WTA 500 in Adelaide 2 and the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam of the season.
