Novak Djokovic left Marbella to Dubai, in order to continue his technical and athletic preparation for the upcoming tennis season. The Serbian traveled with the young countryman (and winner of the Next Gen ATP Finals) Hamad Medjedovic.
During the training sessions in the United Arab Emirates, Nole once again showed his golden heart and sensitivity, giving to the 13-year-old Timur Gordeev a wonderful day. Djokovic, in fact, played tennis for a while with Gordeev, at the Rackets Academy Dubai.
The young Timur is very active on social media where, especially on Instagram, he has already exceeded 42 thousand followers. The boy, among other things, was always present in the stands during the ATP 500 tournament in Dubai.
Timur’s family wanted to thank Djokovic for his kindness through a fantastic message. “Thank you very much, Novak! Timmy couldn’t sleep that night, knowing that Novak had invited him to hit with him. How important this is for him.
Timmy lives for tennis; if he is not playing tennis, he is discussing tennis or watching tennis. Nole, you are a legend! You are the greatest of all time on the court and the great person . You always support and care about everyone around you and are kind and open to all people.
We love you very much! May your good deeds return to you with even greater luck! We wish you a great season!”
Djokovic is ready for the upcoming tennis season
Nole will face Carlitos Alcaraz in an exhibition event, at the Riyadh Season Tennis Cup, on December 27.
This will be the Serbian’s first commitment, albeit unofficial. The main goal of the Serbian champion, about the next weeks, will be to try to win the 11th Australian Open of his amazing career, which it would also be his 25th Major.
