First career title for the German Alexandra Forsterling who with 198 (66 66 66, -15) shots won the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open played in Risch-Rotkreuz, south of Zurich, where Alessandra Fanali finished 37th with 213 (72 70 71, par).

On the course of the Holzhäusern Golfpark (par 71), for the fourth consecutive edition of the tournament after an eight-year break, Forsterling preceded the Norwegian Madelene Stavnar, second with 200 (-13).

In third place with 201 (-12) the German Sophie Witt, the Welsh Chloe Williams and the French Anne-Charlotte Mora, sixth with 202 (-11) the Transalpine Anne-Lise Caudal. The other Italian in the race, Virginia Elena Carta, 90th with 149 (+7), did not make the cut.Forsterling, a 23-year-old from Berlin who studied at Arizona State University, a professional since December 2022, boasts several amateur victories, such as the one in the European Young Masters both individually and in teams in 2014.
