Arsenal vs West Ham free live stream: London rivals clash in FA Youth Cup final as Jack Wilshere’s Gunners chase eighth title

Arsenal will look to kickstart a run of silverware across all levels this season when they host West Ham in the FA Youth Cup final tonight.

Jack Wilshere, who was a member of the last Gunners squad to have won this competition in 2009, will now hope to lift the trophy as a manager.

Arsenal U18 boss Wilshere has been praised by Mertesacker

Wilshere took charge of Arsenal’s Under-18s last summer after hanging up his boots as a result of numerous injury problems.

And the former England international has excelled in his first year of coaching after his side beat Manchester City 2-1 in the last four.

The 31-year-old will now face his former side West Ham, who thrashed Southampton 6-1 and have already secured the U18 Premier League South Division title.

But the young Hammers haven’t been in the Youth Cup final since their 1999 triumph that featured Michael Carrick and Joe Cole.

Arsenal v West Ham: Date and kick-off time

The FA Youth Cup final will take place on Tuesday, April 25.

The match is being held at the Emirates Stadium and will kick off at 7pm.

Wilshere will aim to follow in Pat Rice’s footsteps and lift the FA Youth Cup as both an Arsenal player and as a manager.

Arsenal Women have already won the League Cup and could still claim a treble, while the men’s senior side are chasing a Premier League title.
