The 2023 edition WTA Finals will begin tomorrow and one of the stars who will seek victory will be world no.1 Aryna Sabalenka. The Belarusian tennis player, winner of the 2023 Australian Open and finalist at the US Open, is also looking for a rematch in the 2023 US Open final with Coco Gauff: a revenge that she will try to materialize at the WTA Finals.
Sabalenka talked about a possible challenge with her young American rival during the interview which was held for the group draw of the WTA Finals. “I would like to, I would love to. The defeat at the US Open? Of course, I was disappointed but Coco played on another level.
I just have to accept this loss and move forward. The WTA Finals? I think all of us are favorites for this tournament. It’s tough to say that someone’s favorite here,” she revealed. Below you can watch the words of the beautiful Aryna shared in a video by The Tennis Letter X account:

The WTA Finals 2023
Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Elena Rybakina, Jessica Pegula, Marketa Vondrousova, Ons Jabeur and Maria Sakkari will compete in Cancun to win the 2023 edition of the WTA Finals.
Mexican city of Cancun saved the correct running of the WTA Finals, while from next year the competition will be held in Saudi Arabia after an important agreement reached by the WTA. The journalist underlined how the organizers are doing their utmost to ensure the success of the tournament held by the French Caroline Garcia.
the structure is not yet completed as demonstrated by a tweet shared by Polish journalist Mateusz Wasiewski. The choice of venue caused discontent among the tennis players involved in both singles and doubles. This is due to the long journey to get to Mexico and the presence of the Billie Jean King Cup Finals on the European continent the following week which entails a rather long return journey for the involved tennis players.
Wsiewski also uploaded the video of the arena’s stands which currently consist only of a series of tubes and this has led to an important concern for the holding of the end-of-year tournament.
