Celine Boutier new leader at LPGA Drive On


Frenchwoman Celine Boutier shot a 7-under 65 in the third round on Saturday to jump to the top of the standings at the LPGA Drive On tournament in Gold Canyon, Arizona. Boutier started the round tied for seventh. However, she grew to -16 overall.

The gala opened its takeoff on the third round with an eagle on the second par five of the day. She then added six birdies and a bogey.

Three players, Moriya Jutanugarn of Thailand, Alison Lee of the United States and Hae Ran Ryu of Korea, are one shot away from first place.

Ryu also posted a clean round, with six birdies and an eagle. Moriya Jutanugarn signed a 69 on the day and Alison Lee a 67. Behind, the also Thai Ariya Jutanugarn and the Norwegian Celine Borge each managed 63 to climb thirty-four places in the table and placed fifth tied with -14.

Ariya Jutanugarn completed a clean round with nine birdies. For her part, Borge opened her round with four birdies in a row and signed eight in total, to which she added an eagle. Twelve players are T7 at 13 under par, also in contention.

In Spanish key, Azahara Muñoz is tied forty-eighth with -8 after signing his least good lap of the week this Saturday. Despite this, she has earned one more shot to the field with her 71 after notching three birdies and two bogeys.

Behind, Carlota Ciganda marches sixty-first tied with -6 after getting another hit won. She signed two birdies and a bogey in the third round and is placed with an aggregate of -6 with the final day remaining. Classification after the third round (par 72)
