Cristian Romero replaces Lisandro Martinez as Argentina face Poland, Saudi Arabia take on Mexico, Australia into last 16 for second time in their history, England to meet Senegal in knockout rounds

The 2022 World Cup groups are in the final stages with A and B all wrapped up after Tuesday’s action.

England came out on top in the ‘Battle of Britain’ to knock Wales out and book their place in the last-16, where they will face Senegal.

There was another shock in the World Cup as Wahbi Khazri’s effort gave Tunisia a 1-0 win over France but it wasn’t enough to see them through after Australia beat Denmark by the same scoreline.

Group D will also reach its finale on Wednesday with the big clash between Argentina and Poland… or more specifically Lionel Messi vs Robert Lewandowski.
