Everton begin their preparations for the 2023/24 Premier League campaign this afternoon as they face Stade Nyonnais in Switzerland.
The Toffees survived relegation from the top-flight on the final day last season and will be desperate for a better campaign this term.
However, Sean Dyche’s side have been quiet in the transfer market so far, suggesting it could be another year of struggle.
But Dyche is a master at getting the best out of his group, and a full pre-season should see the club reap the rewards.
Their first test sees them play Swiss Challenge League side Stade Nyonnais, who finished second in the third tier of Switzerland’s football pyramid last season to earn promotion.

This pre-season clash is set to take place on Friday, July 14.
It is being hald at the Centre Sportif de Colovray in Nyon, Switzerland and kick-off is set for 5pm UK time.
The game will be shown live on Everton TV, along with the Toffees’ other pre-season fixtures.
To watch the match for free, Toffees fans must be members or have a season ticket.

New signing Ashley Young could make his non-competitive debut for the club.
