Huge week for Premier League clubs with Harry Kane wanted by Bayern Munich, Jordan Henderson decision, and Andre Onana to Manchester United

By the end of next week, some major Premier League players could complete moves in the transfer window.

Arsenal have just broken the British transfer record by signing Declan Rice, while also adding defender Jurrien Timber to their ranks.

Tottenham face their biggest decision in years and Manchester United could begin a new era as their transfer business comes into the open.

At Liverpool, Saudi money could wash over Anfield with two players being heavily linked with moves.

And wantaway Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku’s future has taken new twists.

So what is the latest transfer talk with huge deals on the horizon? talkSPORT.com takes a look.

Harry Kane conundrum

Tottenham chief Daniel Levy met a Bayern delegation this week while interest from the German giants in Harry Kane is excruciatingly high.

Honorary Bayern president Uli Hoeness says the England international has ‘clearly signalled’ his intention to leave but Kane has given little away over what he wants to do – does he want to leave his boyhood club to move abroad?

It is a decision that will surely be mulling over, while Spurs are not interested in the £70m transfer offer on the table from Bayern.

Kane is just 48 goals off breaking Alan Shearer’s record for most Premier League goals – arguably, he could reach that number after two more seasons.

At 29 years old, the striker is running out of years to make a decision about a career that’s yet to see him lift a trophy despite his incredible goal hauls.

And Tottenham are trying everything they can to tie Kane down to a new contract, one that will expire in a year’s time.

The ball is firmly in Kane’s court – but what does he want to do with it?

Saudi calls at Liverpool

Jordan Henderson has a big decision to make over whether or not to take the money and reunite with Steven Gerrard in Saudi Arabia.

The Liverpool captain has an offer worth a reported £700,000 a week, nearly four times his current pay packet.

However, the midfielder is receiving backlash from LGBTQ+ groups for potentially taking the money from a country where it is illegal to be homosexual, particularly after backing the Rainbow Laces campaign so avidly over the years.

But he might not be the only one willing to make the move to the Gulf State with Al Ittihad bidding £40m for Fabinho, who has been left out of their travelling squad for a friendly with Karlsruher on Wednesday.

However, the Reds might be apprehensive about losing two of their most senior midfielders, both of whom can play in defensive midfield – a position that they are not well stocked in having already said goodbye to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and James Milner.

It would require Liverpool to dip into the transfer window to find arguably more than one replacement with Romeo Lavia among those on their wish list.

Andre Onana era at Old Trafford

Manchester United are finally closing in on the signing of Andre Onana, which has ramped up after the departure of David de Gea.

The Cameroon international is on the brink of joining the Red Devils in a deal that could be worth up to £47m, making him the second signing at the club this summer.

Having already signed Mason Mount for £55m, that would Erik ten Hag’s summer spending to over £100m so far – but the big arrival remains in the offing.

A striker has always been the priority at United but they might need to offset some players to bolster their funds to capture their main target.

Atalanta are demanding a whopping £85m for Rasmus Hojlund while Ten Hag is looking to sell players including Fred, Dean Henderson, Anthony Elanga and Harry Maguire to top up the piggy bank.

West Ham to spend?

Now Rice’s future has been sealed, the Hammers will have some money burning a hole in their pocket.

The mega-money fee coming in helps them improve in multiple positions ahead of the new season and three stars are emerging as persons of interest.

West Ham haven’t got close to bidding for Harry Maguire just yet but he’s been tipped for a transfer their by Tony Cascarino.

He told Weekend Sports Breakfast: “Chris Smalling left and went to Roma and West Ham would be a great move for Harry if it came about.

“Chris Smalling has done brilliantly well and has had some great seasons in Italy. Harry would get his confidence back and having a manager who picks you is important.”

Meanwhile, the Hammers also appear to be in for Harvey Barnes but will face stiff competition from Newcastle.

The Magpies are looking to sell Allan Saint-Maximin to Al Ahli as they attempt to fund a deal for the Leicester City star.
