‘I’m filled with vengeance’ – Jake Paul confirms Tommy Fury rematch will happen

Jake Paul is convinced that a rematch will happen with Tommy Fury after he was beaten by the boxer earlier this year.

The pair clashed in February and Fury survived a knockdown in the final round of the fight to go on and win by split decision.

Paul suffered a first career defeat against Fury

Prior to the fight, Paul revealed he had a rematch clause in place with Fury and it seems he intends to exercise it.

Recently in attendance at the Formula One Miami Grand Prix, Paul was asked whether there were any plans to fight Fury again.

“It’s gonna happen. It’s gonna happen for sure,” Paul told Sky Sports.

“I think it was a great fight, it was entertaining, it was the biggest pay-per-view buys of boxing for the last two years.

“So, I think we have to run it back and Tommy’s down, so I’m excited for that.”

With that being said, it seems Paul’s long-time rival, KSI, is trying to steal the Fury fight from him.

“F*** Jake Paul, I’m fighting Tommy Fury and I’m going to show the world what I can do,” KSI told talkSPORT.

KSI continued: “I think Tommy Fury would be a great test for me. I love being tested, I love pushing myself and what I also love is that everyone is instantly counting me out.

“This happened when I fought Joe Weller, this happened when I fought Logan Paul, it just constantly happens. People think I’m the underdog and there’s no way I have a chance of winning, but I’m like ‘cool, put me in there then, let’s see’.

“I love it, I’m here for it and imagine when I come through and knock him out. I feel that I can [KO] him, I have the power and the pace.”

For the time being, however, Paul is not concerned with Fury or KSI, as he has an upcoming clash with UFC legend Nate Diaz on August 5.

When asked about how preparations were going for this camp, Paul said: “It’s good. I’m ready, I’m excited and I’m filled with vengeance and I’m excited to come back and perform.”
