‘Invented, I sued newspapers in court’

Natalija Scekic is calling “false story” on claims that she was offered money to seduce Novak Djokovic as the Serbian model says all of that was “invented by Serbian journalists” who were later sued by her in court.

Just over a week ago, several Serbian media outlets published a story that claimed Scekic once came out with a story that a manager from Belgrade approached her with a hefty offer to try to seduce Djokovic and have it all recorded.

Also, it was said the manager offered Scekic 60k euros and to select a trip of her choice.

In the quotes that were published, it was also said that initially Scekic thought it was some kind of a joke before refusing to take part in anything that could potentially destroy Djokovic’s marriage.

In a statement to Tennis World USA, Scekic said none of that was true and politely requested a denial story.

“This is false, the story was invented by Serbian journalists! I sued all newspapers in court,” Scekic wrote to us.

Scekic calls the story about her and Djokovic absolutely false

When the Scekic story came out, it drew lots of attention and made all the headlines. On paper, the story indeed looked explosive as many wondered who wanted to destroy Djokovic’s marriage.

But according to Scekic, the story that was published never came out of her mouth and it was nothing but a fabricated story that was made to garner clicks.

Meanwhile, Djokovic has been together with his wife Jelena for nearly two decades. Since marrying in 2014, Djokovic and his wife Jelena have welcomed two kids, Stefan and Tara.

Despite all of the demands of his schedule and career, 36-year-old Djokovic has always been giving his best to balance well between professional and private life.

Earlier this year, Djokovic admitted that being in Australia without his family was difficult as his family is a major part of his life and he wants to be there with them and spend as much time as possible.
