Jack Grealish was reunited with young fan Finlay as the pair hugged before Manchester City’s Premier League clash with Everton.
The England international struck up a friendship with Finlay, who has cerebral palsy, the same condition Grealish’s younger sister, Holly, suffers from.
Ahead of the World Cup, Finlay asked Grealish to do a celebration they practiced together if he netted at the tournament.
Grealish agreed and stuck to his word after scoring against Iran in the Three Lions’ first group match.
After being thanked by Finlay, Grealish posted the video of their exchange on his social media as he dedicated the celebration to his friend.
The pair have now reunited with Finlay tasked with introducing the City players to fans as they arrived at the Etihad Stadium for their Premier League clash against Everton.
As Grealish walked towards him, Finlay said: “And now the moment you’ve all been waiting for, our number ten… Jack Grealish!”
Grealish then stopped in his tracks to share an embrace with Finlay in what was a truly heart-warming moment.
