Logan Paul and KSI are not the most popular people at UFC 284.
The former rivals turned business partners had front-row seats to watch Islam Makhachev vs Alexander Volkanovski in Perth on Sunday morning.
Always passionate, the Aussie fans had been in great form throughout the event and cheered every time a famous fighter was put on the big screen.
However, the mood changed when ‘The Maverick’ and KSI became visible to fans in the RAC Arena as they hilariously started the boo the internet celebrity duo.
After taking a moment to realise what was happening, Paul burst into laughter and KSI quickly followed his lead before the camera panned away from them and back to action.
This is not the first time Logan has been booed during his trip down under.
Ahead of UFC 284, along with KSI, he was promoting Prime when a crowd of people began chanting ‘F*** Jake Paul’ and he felt compelled to defend his brother.
Logan used a megaphone to claim his younger brother ‘Is a good guy’ but his defence prompted the fans to start booing him, amusing KSI who is expected to fight ‘The Problem Child’ later this year.
Last month, it was announced that PRIME is the new official drink of the UFC.
Paul and KSI founded their energy drink company just over a year ago and it has become wildly popular, causing stampedes in UK supermarkets and creating a lucrative market for resellers who are charging up to £100 per bottle.
Last year, Prime became the official drink of the Premier League side Arsenal, KSI’s team, and it will now feature heavily during UFC events moving forward.
On Saturday, Paul posted a picture from the UFC 284 octagon as he stood on an advertisement for his drink brand, he captioned the post: “On the canvas. Still can’t believe Prime is the official sports drink of UFC.”
Paul has repeatably talked about fighting in the UFC and has even called out Paddy Pimblett but is yet to put his words into action.
KSI seems to be focused on boxing right now and is currently looking for his next opponent after picking up wins over Paul, Swarmz, Luis Alcaraz Pineda, and Faze Temperrr.
