‘Magic’ Mahrez scores brace to complete turnaround after Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez goals as Citizens close gap to Arsenal in Premier League title race

Manchester City came from 2-0 down to beat Tottenham 4-2 as they completed a stunning comeback at the Etihad Stadium.

After scoring four in the second half to turn the game on its head, Man City have now closed the gap to league leaders Arsenal to five points.

Dejan Kulusevski and Emerson Royal put Spurs ahead before the home crowd booed their team off at half time.

But Pep Guardiola’s side came out to prove their fans wrong and scored three in 12 minutes to turn things around.

Goals from Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland preceded Riyad Mahrez’s first strike before the winger grabbed a second to seal the win.
