Manchester United transfer news LIVE: Harry Kane wanted, Diogo Dalot signs new deal, Mason Mount bid, Wout Weghorst future decided

Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov believes his old club are perfect for Victor Osimhen.

The Napoli and Nigeria striker is highly sought-after off the back of a Serie A winning season, and United have long been linked with a move.

Unfortunately for them, so have Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, driving the price up towards a £150million fee wanted by the Italian club’s president.

Berbatov told Osimhen to choose Old Trafford though, saying: “I think he should go! If United can find the funds to go for him then he should go.

“That striker is unbelievable in the way he scores in open play, his runs and the way he finds space, especially inside the penalty box.

“So in my opinion, if United need a striker and I think they need the striker they need to go for him.”
