Former UFC middleweight title challengers Marvin Vettori and Jared Cannonier will both look to make a statement when they meet this weekend.
The pair have both lost to current division champion Israel Adesanya in recent visits to the Octagon and are desperate to bounce back.
Cannonier rebounded from his July defeat to ‘The Last Stylebender’ with a split-decision win over Sean Strickland in December.
Another victory will help stake the Killa Gorilla’s claim as the number one contender for Adesanya later this year.
But Vettori will be no easy foe having never been stopped in in 26 professional fights.
‘The Italian Dream’ recovered from a 2022 decision defeat to former title holder Robert Whittaker by beating Roman Dolidze in March.

Vettori vs Cannonier: What has been said?
Cannonier hopes a positive performance against Vettori can set up a rematch with UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.
“I’m getting ready,” he said.
“I will definitely be ready to fight in Sydney. My passport is up to date, my bags will be packed, and the way I plan on performing, I’m definitely gonna be ready to step in and make it happen. But who knows?
“There’s talks of him going up to light heavyweight and doing the champ-champ thing again. It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.
“Either he goes up to light heavyweight and fights Jamahal (Hill) out there, or they have no choice but to put me in there because I’m definitely calling for it after I put Marvin’s lights out.”
