Brooklyn Nets guard Joe Harris has been ruled out for Monday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to soreness in his left knee. Harris also missed Friday’s 118-100 win over the Milwaukee Bucks with the same injury.
Nets’ coach Jacque Vaughn said before the Bucks game that Harris was expected to play, but had reported soreness in his left knee. After that, the Nets decided to sit Harris to allow him to recover from the soreness without potentially making it worse.
Harris had a rough start to this season as he was unable to find his stroke from behind the three-point line. However, he has found his shooting groove as of late as he has shot at least 33% from three-point land in his last nine games.
The former Virginia Cavalier has looked more comfortable on the court as more time passes since he had two surgeries on his ankle. Brooklyn is on an eight-game winning streak and have won 12 of their last 13 games.
