Jude Bellingham was fuming with Marc Cucurella after the final whistle at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
Borussia Dortmund had just crashed out of the Champions League to Chelsea, throwing away a 1-0 lead from the first leg.
The Bundesliga side were disappointing all night, although they certainly felt hard done by with the refereeing decisions that went against them.
Their first issue was the penalty given for a handball from close range and then the decision to give Kai Havertz a retake after he missed the decisive penalty – both as a result of VAR interventions.
Bellingham was furious with something that Blues defender Cucurella had done, running up to him after the final whistle and giving him a shove.
The pair were then separated by teammates as the England midfielder continued to shout at the Chelsea man.
Further fan footage also shows Bellingham taking his fury out on a water bottle by slamming it to the floor, before then pushing away a television camera for getting too close.
Speaking after the game about the penalty incident, the 19-year-old said: “I’m not sure what more he can do with his hand.
“That in itself was disappointing and the fact that they’ve had a retake, I think it’s a joke.
“For every penalty, especially when you have such a slow run-up, there’s going to be people encroaching into the box by a yard or so. He’s made the decision and we have to live with it.”
Asked to go into more detail about the officials, Bellingham added: “I don’t want to get in trouble. I’ve paid enough to them lot.”
