The Roland Garros will start very soon, one of the most important tournaments followed by every corner of the planet. Many, many enthusiasts and insiders discuss the deeds of the best tennis players in the world on a daily basis.

However, it often goes further, especially on social media, which gives free rein to comments that are often over the top. In the world of tennis, due to the high number of events played in a single season, many bettors vent their frustration on the protagonists of the Tour, guilty, in their opinion, of not having given a positive outcome to the bet placed.

The organizers of the French Open have chosen to entrust a significant role to artificial intelligence, which will have the task of systematically checking everything users write both on the official profile of the Parisian Slam and on the individual accounts of male and female tennis players.

An action that will filter offensive comments on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Tik Tok by analyzing the texts proposed by users in less than 290 milliseconds. The system entrusted to the Roland Garros will censor comments deemed offensive as part of its strategy to take care of the mental health of players, the FFT has decided to collaborate with Bodyguard to fight cyberbullying, as we learn in the beginning published by the Federation tennis french.

Djokovic and Sabalenka the most targeted on social media

Taking into consideration the ATP, according to a recent study, Novak Djokovic is the tennis player who has received the highest number of negative tweets, with a ratio of almost one to five (15%).

On Facebook, the percentage was 11%. It follows Stefanos Tsitsipas with 15% negative comments on Twitter and 7% angry reactions on Facebook. The Serbian and Greek are followed by Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, Casper Ruud and Cameron Norrie.

On the WTA side, however, Aryna Sabalenka received the highest number of negative tweets with a ratio of almost one to five (15%). On Facebook, the percentage was 5%. Elena Rybakina follows, with 10% negative comments on Twitter and 4% negative reactions on Facebook.

Tennis World USA condemns all kinds of hate, because even virtual hate is a means of undermining the life of a person, whether an athlete or not.
