Paul Pierce on Boston Celtics culture and supporting today’s roster

Hall of Fame Boston Celtics small forward Paul Pierce had the luxury of learning from the greats of the game who remained close with the Celtics after the dynasty years of the 1960s and the era of titles in the 1970s and 80s. The Englewood native made up his mind at the end of his career as a player to pay that forward to a new generation of Boston stars and has been closer to the team as a result in recent years.

The Kansas alum has put in the work trying to help instill Celtics culture into today’s players on the team and recently sat down with the hosts of the team-produced “View From the Rafters” podcast to talk about the process of mentoring a new wave of Celtics greats.

Check out the clip embedded below to hear what The Truth had to say about passing the torch in Boston.
