Ringside footage emerges of Tyson Fury celebrating with Joseph Parker after first round KO

The New Zealander made quick work of his opponent, catching Opelu with a hard counter and then capitalising before the referee stepped in to wave off the contest.

And Fury certainly enjoyed it, as footage emerged of the WBC heavyweight champion jumping up and down in celebration at ringside.

Fury could then be seen climbing up onto the edge of the ring and giving Parker a hug.

In his post-fight interview, Parker said: “I’d like to thank [Opelu] for taking the fight and putting on the best performance he could.

“I want to keep busy… anyone who’s keen, anywhere. I just want to fight.”

And in terms of potential next opponents for Parker, Fury had a few suggestions, saying: “I’d like to see him fight maybe a rematch with Andy Ruiz, or a rematch with Joe Joyce, or even Dillian Whyte or even AJ.

“F*** em all! Joseph Parker is back on the map!”

Fury has appeared to thoroughly enjoy his time in Australia, so much so that he has said he wants his next fight to take place there.

“I’m looking to do a fight [in Australia],” Fury said.

“So I’ll be going up and down the country looking at different stadiums over the next few days… I’m 100% serious.”

Little-known Australian heavyweight Demsey McKean’s manager Angelo Di Carlo told the Herald Sun that they have already been in talks for a potential clash with Fury.
