Kepa Arrizabalaga prefers a move to Real Madrid over Bayern Munich, if he leaves Chelsea this summer, talkSPORT understands.
Both European giants are on the hunt for emergency goalkeeper cover before the transfer window shuts, with Manuel Neuer still struggling after breaking his leg in a horror ski accident, while Thibaut Courtois is set to miss the season after suffering an ACL injury.
Kepa was initially linked with a surprise move to Bayern, with Neuer back in training but supposedly struggling to kick a ball.
But after Courtois’ injury, Real joined the race, and the Spaniard is keen to join the La Liga giants.
Real have also been in talks over a move for David De Gea, who is a free agent after leaving Manchester United at the end of last season.
Now it appears Real have a decision to make over whether to pay a sizable fee for Kepa, who has two years left on his contract with Chelsea, or save a bit of money and go with 32-year-old De Gea instead.
