Gervonta Davis will be looking to maintain his sublime record when he faces Hector Luis Garcia tonight.
‘Tank’ boasts a 27-0 record and plans to have three fights in 2023, starting with this one against ‘El Androide’.
The 28-year-old has recently parted ways with Mayweather Promotions and leaked an email from Eddie Hearn regarding an offer to fight Ryan Garcia while representing Matchroom Sport.
But despite these shenanigans away from the ring, Davis is a destructive fighter and this clash has the potential to be tasty.
Davis is a multiple world champion and will risk his WBA lightweight title.
But his opponent is unbeaten as well and is the current WBA ‘super’ featherweight champion, so this will be a tough test for ‘Tank’.

This 12-round title fight is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 7.
The bout is being held at the Capital One Arena in Washington DC with ring walks expected around 4am Sunday morning for UK fans.
