University of Southern California beat UNLV and remains undefeated

No. 7 University of Southern California men’s tennis team beat UNLV 5-2 at Marks Tennis Stadium to remain undefeated on the season. USC thus achieved its fourth consecutive victory to start the season

The Trojans will travel on the road to face Oklahoma State at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Greenwood Tennis Center in Stillwate. Trojans fans can follow the team on Instagram and on X @USCMensTennis.

Peter Makk and Lodewijk Weststrate opened the doubles with a 6–3 victory. Volodymyr Iakubenko and Samuel Rubell followed suit to win 7-5 to give the Trojans double points. No. 94 Karl Lee earned USC’s first singles win of the day. Weststrate beat its opponent in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.

Iakubenko clinched the match for USC with a 6-4, 6-1 victory. The freshman has gotten off to a great start to his USC career, winning three of four games this season so far.
