Vanderbilt ladies come back on the court
Dores competed at the ITA Kickoff this past weekend in Knoxville, Tennessee, where they faced Tennessee and Miami.
The Commodores managed to defeat Tennessee, taking the doubles point, but then falling behind in the singles, with the Volunteers finishing the match 4-3. Against the Hurricanes, Vanderbilt took the double point and quickly achieved a 4-0 victory.
Memphis is off to a 3-1 start this spring, starting the season with a win against Hawaii and adding two straight wins over Ole Miss and Tulsa to its most recent record. The Tigers competed last weekend at home against the Golden Hurricanes, earning a 4-1 victory.
After the match against Memphis, Vanderbilt women’s tennis will host a Love Serving Autism post-match clinic. Email [email protected] for further details.
