Wolves have made West Ham striker Michail Antonio a transfer target in January, talkSPORT understands.
The 19th placed Premier League side are set to be active in the market this month to improve upon their season so far.
They have netted just 11 times in the league during the campaign with Daniel Podence and Ruben Neves being their joint top scorers on just four goals each.
With goals clearly limited, Julen Lopetegui could look to make a move for Antonio in the coming weeks.
The Wolves boss has highlighted the 32-year-old as someone who would improve their attack for the rest of the season.
Antonio has scored five goals in all competitions for the Hammers so far this season, with two of them coming in the league.
He is in his eighth season at the club and is West Ham’s record goalscorer in the Premier League with 58 strikes.
The striker may not be the only West Ham player to join their fellow Premier League strugglers in January.
talkSPORT understands centre-back Craig Dawson is also a player that Wolves are trying to sign from the east London outfit.
The 32-year-old came close to joining them in the summer, but David the move was blocked at the 11th hour.
It could therefore potentially be a huge month for Wolves, with new signings clearly needed.
They may be one point from safety, but a lack of improvement could put them at risk of relegation towards the end of the season.
