What are the Boston Celtics’ biggest potential hurdles to getting to the 2023 NBA Finals?

The Boston Celtics are perhaps better prepared than any team in the NBA to get back to the finals, at least on paper. But as fans of many a team that was supposed to dominate and did not can attest, basketball games are not played on a notebook scratch pad.

What are the Celtics’ biggest potential hurdles to getting the club to the 2023 NBA Finals? The Milwaukee Bucks, the Philadelphia 76ers or the Cleveland Cavaliers? Could it be their own bad habits or relative inexperience that might keep the Celtics from another go at Banner 18 this postseason?

The club has competition from dangerous Eastern Conference teams to consider, and as recent contests have born out, Boston is not yet above beating itself.

The hosts of ESPN’s “NBA Countdown” show, Mike Greenberg, Stephen A. Smith, Jalen Rose and Kendrick Perkins, recently debated this particular topic on a segment.

Take a look at the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say about Boston’s biggest obstacle for a Finals return.
