Celtics’ Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum on female athletes who have inspired them

While Boston Celtics star forwards Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum may not approach the causes they support as individuals in the same way, they do have plenty to say about one of them in particular that they can present as a united front — the importance of women in sports.

Both of the Celtics duo have their own example of a woman whose career in sports changed their personal views on the field that has become more of a vocation than just a job and opened up about those examples in a recent interview that was put together by the Celtics organization last month.

It might also surprise you to hear that the pair of Boston wings were not restricted to the sport they play in their answers to what female athletes have stood out to them in their own careers as athletes.

Check out the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say.
