All or Nothing trailer shows explosive Germany World Cup disaster featuring teammate bust-ups and fury over ‘politics’

Amazon’s All or Nothing covering Germany’s World Cup disaster promises to be their most explosive football documentary yet.

A trailer has been released ahead of the behind-the-scenes series release in September, and in just one-and-a-half minutes it covers a number of huge bust-ups from Die Mannschaft.

Germany made a shocking early exit at Qatar 2022, failing to make it out of their group, finishing behind Japan and Spain in an extraordinary final matchday.

On top of that, Germany had to contend with draconian rules from FIFA, which would have seen captain Manuel Neuer receive a yellow card had he worn a rainbow armband in support of the LGBTQ+ community.

After FIFA enforced a rule against the OneLove armbands, the squad posed for their pre-match photo with their hands over their mouths before a 2-1 loss to Japan.

The controversy surrounding the issue looks set to be a big part of the documentary, with one scene showing Bayern Munich’s Leon Goretzka telling the written media: “What I expect from everyone is that we can completely forget these issues when we’re on the pitch.”

Manager Hansi Flick is also seen saying: “Forget what happened guys, we just talked about politics.”

Even without the armband issue, the national team faced criticism back home from a ‘Boycott Qatar’ campaign, with supporters urging the team not to travel due to human rights abuses.

A newspaper headline that reads: “Shame on you,” is shown, while Flick also says: “I didn’t sleep well last night because we don’t have any support in Germany.”

The excerpt also shows tensions running high within the playing staff, particularly around Bayern’s Joshua Kimmich and Real Madrid’s Antonio Rudiger.

In one clip the pair are seen arguing in training and Rugider says: “I give you instructions,” with Kimmich replying: “But never to my face.”

In another cut, Rudiger is seen pushing Goretzka away in a heated training scene, while Kimmich looks stunned as former teammate and Borussia Dortmund defender Niklas Sule tells him: “Stop yapping at me, I’m telling you.”

But perhaps most brutal of all is the final shot in the trailer, which shows Flick next to the ‘All or Nothing’ title, before the first part disappears, leaving just the word ‘nothing’.

Since getting knocked out of the World Cup, Germany have a record of one win, one draw, and three losses, piling the pressure on manager Flick.

Germany host Euro 2024 next summer, with Flick under huge pressure to improve the team’s fortunes.

A recent poll from BILD showed that 49 per cent of fans want Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp to manage the team on a part-time basis, ahead of former Bayern manager Julian Nagelsmann on 16 per cent.
