Cameron Young on the tough conditions at Augusta: It’s basically impossible

This year’s Masters at Augusta will prove to be too difficult for everyone as a result of the weather conditions. Golfers are faced with many problems as a result of rain and cold weather, and being able to handle these situations is a real skill that needs to be developed.

After the second round of the tournament, Cameron Young was one of the golfers who commented on the conditions of the tournament: “Oh, it was easy. Greens were soft. It was nice and warm. Yeah, I mean it’s basically impossible.

I don’t really know what you’re supposed to do. It’s playing so long. “- Young said, as quoted by golfmonthly.com In spite of these conditions, Young is still satisfied with the way he managed to deal with them. In this instance, he showed that he is capable of showing his best self, but he believes he could have done even better.

“I think — I mean, I hit a great shot on 18, I think it landed in a puddle. So it’s hard. But I played well, honestly. The double on 17 is a bummer but ,other than that, I couldn’t have done much better.”

Cameron Young talks about problems

Driving is very difficult.

“Driving is difficult because if the driver face gets wet, even in your preshot routine, which happened to me twice today, they tend to just squirt right.” Although the conditions are very difficult, they are the same for everyone.

There are many problems for golfers to contend with. “I think physically that’s a really difficult part. Mentally it’s obviously hard just because you’re generally not having the most fun out there,” added Young. “You can’t afford to make doubles.

Bogeys can be okay. You kind of just have to be thankful when you have a putt for birdie because it’s going to play really long and no one’s going to be very comfortable out there.”
