Carl Froch slams ‘performing clown’ Jake Paul in response to call-out, but Derek Chisora says he’s willing to bet £200,000 on YouTuber to beat four-time world champion

Carl Froch insists Jake Paul has no business calling him out after the American YouTuber suggested they could fight in the future.

A rather unexpected beef has brewed between the two with Paul calling on Froch to fight Anderson Silva, who Paul beat in his last bout, on the undercard of his showdown with Tommy Fury on Sunday night.

Froch and Paul have exchanged verbal blows, and Chisora believes Paul would come out on top if they were to meet in the ring

Paul then suggested Froch is jealous of the amount of money he’s made in his career and offered him the chance to ‘make his career payday.’

Safe to say four-time world champion Froch isn’t keen on the idea though, claiming that Paul isn’t in the same league as him.

And in reminding Paul of his lack of boxing prowess Froch couldn’t help but throw in how many were inside Wembley Stadium to watch his devastating knockout of George Groves in the final fight of his career.

“Jake Paul has called me out on his social media, apparently he wants to fight me,” Froch said.

“Just in case you didn’t know, my last fight was at Wembley Stadium in front of 80,000 fans.

“I won’t be fighting the Mixed Martial Arts legend Anderson Silva on your undercard, I’ve got too much respect for him. And you’re punch, did that even land? Very dubious.

“But anyway you’ve got a job to do against Tommy Fury. If by some miracle you manage to beat Tommy Fury then I’ll listen to you, I’ll have a little chat with you, see what garbage comes out of your mouth, see what you’ve got to say.

“But until then don’t talk about me in the same league as you. I’m a four-time world champion. Two WBC titles here [pictured].; You’ll never, ever have one of them, you’re not good enough.

“You’re not a professional fighter, you’re a performing clown. That’s all you are.

“So keep my name out of your mouth until you’ve done something in the game.

“I think this Sunday your world ends. If it doesn’t and you are stupid enough to take a fight with me, when this right hand lands on your chin, I will put you into f****** orbit and knock that stupid barnet off the top of your head.”

However, heavyweight boxer Derek Chisora isn’t so sure about Froch’s belief he would wipe the floor with Paul.

Chisora added he’d be willing to bet £200,000 in Paul’s favour should the pair ever lock horns.

“Carl Froch should go in there, get his a**** beaten up and get his cheque, bro,” Chisora told iFL TV.

“He would beat Carl Froch, you know. He would beat Carl Froch. He will take the venom out of ‘The Cobra’ and pump him up! He will beat Carl Froch.

“I’m willing to bet £200,000 that Carl Froch would get his a*** dealt with… I’m being 100 per cent serious.”
