‘Come up with the dollars’ – John Fury explains the final obstacle holding up Tommy Fury’s fight against KSI

John Fury has revealed that money is the only reason why KSI vs Tommy Fury has not yet been confirmed.

The pair have been in negotiations for months, but a contract has not been signed and now it seems this is due to financial reasons.

Fury and his team are not happy with the money being offered to fight KSI

“There’s one obstacle they’ve got to clear, you know, that’s the money,” John said, the dad and trainer of Tommy, in an interview with Happy Punch Promotions.

“And as soon as we get confirmation on the money, it’s all systems go isn’t it. That’s it.

“But, at the minute, money is hard to find and hard to put up.

“But that’s their job and I’m sure they can do it, but that’s the only thing that’s stopping us at the minute.

“I’ll tell you straight, I’m not hiding nothing.

“Come up with the dollars, we’re fighting, you don’t, we’re not.”

With that being said, there was a positive update recently, as it appears the two men have agreed to a weight.

However, it has not been specified whether they landed at 180lbs as requested by KSI, or at 185lbs, which is what Tommy wanted.

With this fight, Tommy is looking to conquer the two biggest names in influencer boxing, having already beaten Jake Paul.

And now, he is coming for Arsenal fan KSI too.

Meanwhile, KSI, who is unbeaten in the boxing ring, wants to do what Paul couldn’t and stop Fury.
