Iga Swiatek seemingly had a great laugh after seeing a fan drawing a similarity between her on-court reactions and cat memes. Since becoming the best player in the game, Swiatek regularly stumbles upon fans posting memes about her.
In most cases, those memes come from Swiatek fan accounts or from personal accounts of her fans. On Monday, a new Swiatek meme thread was posted on X. “This thread just made my day,” Swiatek wrote on X.

Swiatek on being ‘a meme queen’
As Swiatek’s popularity was massively increasing last year, she was once asked about her becoming “a meme queen” on social media. “Honestly, I was already a meme queen at my middle school.
But that was pretty mean from the other kids. But I was. Maybe that’s another thing I was born to do. I don’t know if I should be happy or sad about that,” Swiatek told the WTA Insider Podcast. Meanwhile, Swiatek vacationed in Maldives last week.
After winning the WTA Finals and returning to the world No 1 spot, Swiatek issued an honest reflection on the year and then hit vacation mode. “What a season that was… I saw, did and learned so much. Before I’ll start my much-needed vacation, I would like to leave here some words of appreciation, gratitude and some thoughts.
I would like to thank my team. I wouldn’t be in this place without you. I want to thank everyone who supports me every day through the ups and downs of every season. And last but not least… I want to thank the amazing women I compete with on tour.
Thanks to you, I constantly want to be a better player. Every one of us has our own story and we can tell those stories together through our sport. I’m grateful for you and for this opportunity. The best things happen to us when… we stop chasing them,” Swiatek wrote on Instagram following the conclusion of the 2023 season.
