Leeds United vs West Brom: Tips, free bets and odds with talkSPORT BET

Leeds United host West Bromwich Albion on Friday night in the Championship as the home side still search for their first win.

Leeds vs West Brom odds

Leeds are the favourites but would probably be a shorter price had they not struggled with their opening two games in the Championship.

The hosts are even money to win but an away win isn’t completely ruled out at 13/5 while a draw is just 5/2, following West Brom’s 3-2 victory on Saturday over Swansea.

Leeds vs West Brom predictions

West Brom were probably quite fortunate to win 3-2 over Swansea in the end on Saturday afternoon.

They took a 3-0 lead, courtesy of an own goal and a penalty, but only ended the game with three shots on target.

Swansea were close to completing a big comeback, not for the first time this calendar year either, with goals in the 74th and 80th minute as it became a very tense last ten minutes.

Leeds on the other hand drew 2-2 with Cardiff, with the Bluebirds also quite lucky to escape with at least a point.

But United had to net an equaliser deep into additional time to spare their embarrassment. Cardiff had just two shots on target, 28% of the ball but still managed to score two goals in the first half to stun the Whites and then go on the defensive.

It looked like it could have been another draw for Leeds last time against Birmingham but Lukas Jutkiewicz netted a penalty in stoppage time, but now it looks as though Leeds can finally get off the mark.

Leeds vs West Brom betting tips

Leeds Over 1.5 goals – 1/1

West Brom have conceded six goals in their last three matches this season already, two against Stoke in the EFL Cup, two against Blackburn and another two to Swansea in the Championship.

Leeds scored twice against Cardiff while the pressure was ramped up at Elland Road in their Championship opener and another two at home in the EFL Cup against Shrewsbury.

They couldn’t find their scoring form last time out though with few and far between attacks to get the chances.

But are likely to find a fair few against a side who’ve let a few in already this year.
