Min Woo Lee dominates the Fortinet Australian PGA Championship and with a total of -17, with a three-shot lead, takes the lead after the third round. The young Australian will seek his third title on the top European circuit tomorrow and the second in his homeland, after having already won the Honda Vic Open in 2020.

The moving day was solid for Min Woo Lee, with a partial of -5 ( 66 shots) and seven birdies in his score. The first pursuer is the Japanese Rikuya Hoshino, with a total of -14. Hoshino went wild in the second part of the round, with six birdies for a total of 67, which led him to end the day with wonderful -7.

Lee’s victories in the past and his leadership in the tournament indicate that he will be a challenging opponent to beat.

In third place, at -13, we find Curtis Luck, another Australian who proves that he always has something extra when he plays at home and who proves to be a difficult opponent to beat.

In fourth place, with a score of -11, former Masters winner Adam Scott, representing the third Australian out of four in the top positions. Unfortunately, the 43-year-old had a poor day, with just two birdies and two bogeys, leading to an even-par round that took him away from his twelfth victory on the circuit.

In fifth position, with a total score of -10, we find the couple made up of the Scotsman Connor Syme and the Australian Lucas Herbert. Closing out the top-10 on par 71 at the magnificent Royal Queensland Golf Club in Brisbane (Queensland, Australia) are Marc Leishman, Cam Davis, Joaquin Niemanne and Jole Moscatel, all tied for seventh place with a score of -9.

Even in the Australian weekend, the Italian presence is felt with Pietro Bovari who plays his second complete tournament on the DP World Tour. The young Milanese born in 2001 stood out in the first round, easily passing the cut, and then confirmed himself on the second day with a result that places him in joint 43rd place.

Over the course of the eighteen holes, Bovari recorded two bogeys on the 4th and 14th, but also made three birdies, in particular on the 5th, 7th and 15th. A convincing and auspicious performance, which could be the launching pad to give your all in the last lap of the race.
