Nets’ Seth Curry says Nets have ‘figured out’ how to play as a team

Brooklyn Nets guard Seth Curry has been good for the Nets off the bench this season. Despite having a subpar December (6.2 PPG), he has been having an awesome January as he is averaging 15.8 PPG while shooting 48.9% from three-point land.

In Friday’s 117-106 win over the Utah Jazz, Curry had 10 points (3-of-8 shooting from the field, 2-of-6 shooting from behind the three-point line) and three assists in 25 minutes. He wasn’t the hottest that he’s been shooting the ball, but he made some big shots when his number was called.

Curry made two three-pointers in the last 2:18 of the game and those shots, along with Kyrie Irving’s 48 points, helped keep the Jazz at bay. Curry spoke postgame about what Brooklyn has learned since Kevin Durant has been out of the lineup due to a sprained right MCL:

“We’ve kind of figured out a way we want to play. Figured out some rotations obviously and I think the second half of that Phoenix game, we lost. We got some momentum playing together playing well, competing as a team. And, gotta just keep that moving forward, watch the film, get better, and continue to fight every night.”
